DVN Trade is a Sri Lankan grocery specialist and a one-stop wholesale distributor to UK businesses. Everything about how we work is built around trade buyers: private pricing, direct contact and no consumer sales.
Who we are
Built around what UK Asian retail actually sells.
DVN Trade supplies UK trade buyers from a base in Walthamstow, east London — over 500 product lines from more than 80 suppliers, across 20 categories, delivered UK-wide.
Sri Lankan grocery is the specialism and the reason most buyers come to us. Around it sits everything else a world-food shelf or a busy kitchen needs: South Asian staples, household and cleaning lines, soft drinks and takeaway packaging — so a supermarket, a convenience store, a cash and carry, a restaurant or a takeaway can order the lot on one delivery. We carry the brands shoppers look for by name alongside our own DVN label.
If a category is not something we can support properly, we say so. It is a better conversation than a catalogue full of lines that are never in stock.

On availability, pack format and lead time you get a direct answer from the sales team, including when the answer is no.
03 Written confirmation
Quantities, prices, delivery and terms for each order are confirmed in writing before anything ships. Nothing is agreed only by phone.
Sourcing & product
Authentic where it matters, practical where it counts.
A Sri Lankan range only works if the core is right. Get the rice, the dhal, the curry powder and the coconut milk right, and the rest of the aisle follows.
We group the range the way our customers merchandise it, so building an order is quick and the shelf makes sense to the shopper. Where a line has both a retail pack and a catering format, we will tell you which one suits your business rather than defaulting to whichever is easier to ship.
